Day 1: Arrival in Mexico City  [Up]

After your arrival at the airport in Benito Juarez we pick you up and bring you to your hotel Century. Overnight stay.
 

Day 2: Mexico City - Teotihuacán & Basilika de Guadalupe  [Up]

Your city tour through Mexico City begins right after the breakfast. You get to see among other things the Zocalo, the famous cathedral and the palace. Afterwards we take you to the impressive archeological site Teotihuacán, which was basic of Frida's and Diego's work. You definitely shouldn't miss to climb up the sun- or the moon pyramid to catch the imposing view over the whole site. After you enjoyed your lunch you keep going to the Basilica de Guadalupe, the famous and most distinguished pilgrimage church of the country where you find an image of The Virgin of Guadalupe. Overnight stay.
 

Day 3: Diego Rivera Day  [Up]

Today after the breakfast we are off towards Zocalo, a symbol of power and at the same time the "heart" of the country. There you enter the national palace and find the main attraction in the gallery of arcades: Diego Rivera's wall paintings, their topic the history of Mexico is and which took the painter many years to finish. The school of Frida Kahlo's, where they first met and the Department of Education, where you can find some of Diego's most beautiful wall paintings are not going to impress you less. After your lunch you can adore even more artwork of Frida and Diego in the Museo Nacional de Arte (National Museum of Arts) and the last and just as impressive artworks of Diego you see in the Museo Murales before we bring you back to your hotel. Overnight stay.
 

Day 4: Frida Kahlo Day  [Up]

In Coyoacán begins your Frida Kahlo Day. It's one of the most beautiful districts of Mexico City where you get to see the "Casa Azul", the house of Frida's birth which also was later on the house of the artist couple. There you still can find typical objects like their sketches. Before you enjoy your relaxing lunch at the main square of Coyoacán "Hidalgo" you go to the museum of Leo Trotzki, the assistant of Diego Rivera. Invigorated from your lunch you visit the Dolores Olmedo Museum with some of Frida's artworks and a bigger part of Diego's. The finalized visit at Diego Rivera's private museum "Anahuacalli" which he established after the death of Frida can't be missed and makes your Frida Kahlo Day to be a perfect day. Overnight stay.
 

Day 5: Mexico City - San Angel  [Up]

Today we take you to San Angel. On the way there you stop over at the university of Mexico City and get to see artworks of Diego´s students and some his self in the Olympic stadium. In San Angel, as well one of the most beautiful districts in Mexico City you entry Diego Rivera's garage nowadays the gallery of arts and cultural center where you find a private collection of his work. After your lunch you get to know the anthropological museum with its plenty of prehispanic treasures of art. Before you go back to your hotel you visit the Chapultepec, the green lung of the city with a lot of cultural centers, museums, a zoo and some wonderful lakes. Enjoy your evening in Mexico City. Overnight stay.
 

Day 6: Mexico City - Airport  [Up]

After the breakfast we bring you to the airport or you begin your further journey.
