Day 1: Arrival in Mexico City  [Up]

We pick you up at the airport and bring you to your hotel. Overnight stay.
 

Day 2: City Tour & Anthropological Museum  [Up]

After the breakfast we take you on a panorama city tour. You visit among other things the Zocalo with its famous cathedral, the government palace and the anthropological museum. In the afternoon you can take the chance to discover Mexico City on your own initiative. Overnight stay.
 

Day 3: Pyramids of Teotihuacán & Basilica de Guadalupe  [Up]

Today you are off towards the impressive archeological site Teotihuacán. You definitely shouldn't miss out on climbing up the Sun- or Moon Pyramid because it provides you an imposing view over the whole area. Then you keep going to the Basilica de Guadalupe, the most famous pilgrimage site of Mexico before we bring you back to your hotel. Overnight stay.
 

Day 4: Mexico City - Puebla & Oaxaca  [Up]

Starting from Mexico City your private tour guide takes you to Puebla, a city with colonial charm, full of history and famous for its location in the middle of four volcanos. One of them is the well known Popocatepetl. On the way there you visit the Temple Santa María Tonantzintla and in Puebla it self you take part on a city tour on which you see all important sights of the city until you are off to Oaxaca. Day 5: City Tour & Monte Alban  [Up]

After the breakfast your city tour starts through the colonial center of Oaxaca which is world culture heritage. During your tour you get to know the most important and most famous sights until you go to Monte Albán, the most distinguished archeological site of the region. Already a long period of time ago Aldous Huxley, the American writer was fascinated by the on a mountain situated City of Zapotecs. It's definitly going to impress you, too. Afterwards you return to Oaxaca. In the evening you can give the regional delicacies a try. In particular grashopper, mole and the typical chocolate are famous for Oaxaca. Overnight stay.
 

Day 6: Mitla - Tule - Hierve el Agua & San Cristobal de las Casas  [Up]

In the morning after your breakfast we take you to the archeological site Mitla. On the way you stop over at the world's widest living tree, the Tree of Tule. In its stem you can identify interesting formations which are explained by your guide. After visiting Mitla you keep going to the limestone waterfalls Hierve el Agua which are waiting to offer you a refreshing bath in the mineral water with a breathtaking view. Relaxed and refreshed you go back to Oaxaca where you take the first- class bus to San Cristobal de las Casas in the late evening. Overnight trip.
 

Day 7: Cañon del Sumidero  [Up]

You arrive at about 6 am at your hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas and you have enough time to have a rest before you visit the famous and impressive Canyon del Sumidero, which counts almost 1000 meters at its highest point. There you enjoy an exciting boat tour through the canyon where an exotic world of flora and fauna is waiting for you. Afterwards you go to the colonial village Chiapa del Corzo where you can visit the beautiful church and still have enough time to enjoy your lunch. From Chiapa del Corzo you go back to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Overnight stay.
 

Day 8: San Cristóbal de las Casas & Indigenous Communities  [Up]

After breakfast you visit the indigenous villages San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan where you receive an impression of the authentic customs and lifestyle of the Tzotzilen and Tseltales who are still living an autonomous and traditional life. In the afternoon you enjoy a city tour in San Cristóbal de las Casas and visit the colorful market. Overnight stay.
 

Day 9: San Cristóbal - Agua Azul - Misol Ha & Palenque  [Up]

In the early morning you visit the beautiful waterfalls of Agua Azul. Here you shouldn't miss a refreshing bath in the turquoise shimmering water and the delicious taste of the famous Empanadas. Then your tour leads to the next impressive waterfall Misol Ha and to Palenque. Here you visit the famous archeological excavation of Palenque which though isn't the biggest but surely the most beautiful and most important discovered Mayan city because of its architectural fantasy and harmony in the middle of an tropical scenery. Day 10: Palenque - Campeche  [Up]

After the breakfast you are on the way to Campeche, where you can use the rest of the day to discover the little fisher town with its colorful houses on your own initiative or simply relax and enjoy going back in time to the past colony. Overnight stay.
 

 

Day 11: Campeche - Uxmal - Mérida  [Up]

Enjoy in the morning a city tour in Campeche whose historical center is part of the UNESCO world cultural heritage since 1999. You leave Campeche towards Uxmal which is Yucatan's most important archeological excavation apart from Chichen Itza. Then you go to Mérida, better known as the "white city" where you spend a short time on a panorama city tour before we bring you to your hotel. Overnight stay.
 

Day 12: Mérida - Chichen Itza -Playa del Carmen  [Up]

After breakfast you leave towards Chichen Itza, one of the seven world wonders and Mexico's most famous archeological excavation. After your guided tour you move on to the paradies Playa del Carmen. Enjoy on of your last days in Mexico on its beautiful dream beaches. Overnight stay.
