In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel and drive to the idyllic fishing village Rio Lagartos, which is mostly famous for its flamingo colony. After you arrived, your guide takes you on an amazing boot ride through the lagoon. Discover the multifaceted flora and fauna with its 320 different species and enjoy the sight of the amazing flamingo colony. After having lunch, the tour continues to the mainly unknown archeological site Ek Balam, which means shiny Jaguar. Archeologist discovered the good preserved site in 1998. Impressive is especially the façade of the main pyramid with its beautiful artful stucco. After viewing the site, the tour continues to a traditional Maya village, where you have time on your own to discover the settlement and to buy some souvenirs. Following, the tour returns to Cancún or to Riviera Maya. According to the further course of your trip, you are brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal (available on Wednesdays and Saturdays only).
