This nature park is more than 5000 Square kilometers big and offers a wide range of different vegetation, from tropical rain forest and mangrove forests to marshy landscape. More than that, a couple of islands belong to the reserve. First, you cross, accompanied by a biologist, the pristine marshy landscape. The tour leads you from the Mayan ruin Muyil to the temple of Xlapak. Here you have time to take a refreshing bath in the waters of the mangroves and to observe the exotic birds. On the walk through the jungle, the biologist tells you everything worth knowing about the flora and fauna of the sensitive nature. In the end of your walk you reach the subterranean Cenote called Escondido, where you have time for snorkeling. Afterwards, you enjoy a delicious lunch before you return to the starting point in the afternoon. According to the further course of your trip, you are brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal.
