In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or at your hotel and the tour takes you towards Amatenango del Valle. The village is well known for its artificial potteries that are traditionally produced in wood fired ovens. During the tour you get the unique opportunity to talk to the indigenous families and experience how they are putting into practice their daily work. Afterwards, the tour continues to the Montebello national park, which is famous for its countless gloriously blue lakes and you get to know some of the most magnificent ones such as the Tziscao, Pojoj, Ensueño, la Encantada and the Emerald Lake. Optionally, it's possible to take part in a stunning rafting tour, before you move on to the river San Vincente. Impressed by the largest waterfall of Chiapas named El Chiflon, you will marvel at the grandiose natural spectacle, which is supposed to be 80 meters high. On this sight, you have plenty of time to discover the surroundings and to enjoy the tranquility and the beauty of the nature. The water of the natural pool is crystal clear and you should not miss out on an invigorating bath. You return to San Cristobal in the evening. According to the further course of your trip, you are brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal.
