Agua Azul, Misol Há & transfer to Palenque

In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel and you drive to the fascinating waterfalls Agua Azul, which are supposed to be the most magnificent ones of Mexico. On your way, you have a short break for a strengthening breakfast in Ocosingo. Afterwards you continue your mystical car ride through the rain forest, which is partly covered with the fog of the early morning. Arrived at the tree-covered waterfalls, you should not miss out on taking a refreshing bath in the turquoise, shiny water or to taste the famous Empanadas. From here, the tour continues to the waterfall Misol Ha, which rushes from its highest point 40 meters to the ground. On a tiny, winding path, you can walk behind the immense water curtain, due to the drizzle a freshening experience. Afterwards you drive to Palenque where you visit the well know archaeological excavation site, which is the most lovely antique city of the Mayas. Get yourself bewitched of the amazing architecture and the imposing size of the site. Archaeologists guess that still approx. 1200 undiscovered temples are hidden in the thicket of the rain forest. You will be back in San Cristóbal by 9.30 pm. According to the further course of your trip, you are brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal.
