In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel and you leave directly towards the small colonial village Bernal, situated in the Sierra Gorda of Querétaro. There you will climb the 288 meters high monolith, Peña de Bernal , which is the 3rd highest of the world after the Ayers rock and the Sugar Loaf Mountain. One says it has magic powers and leads to a long life. The great view over the Sierra Gorda compensates for your effort. Afterwards you have some more time in Bernal and you can try two or three house-made Gorditas (corn bags with arbitrary filling). Afterwards you continue to the small, pictorial village Tequisquiapan, where you can have coffee and visit the market. For art lovers this is exactly the correct place.
