Dolores Hidalgo & Guanajuato

In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel and eave toward Dolores Hidalgo, the cradle of national freedom. You visit the Museo de la Independencia and you learn about the history of the independence and the national revolt, which took place there on 16 September 1810 and which introduced the war of independence against the Spanish. Afterwards you continue to Guanajuato, which is Mexico's most beautiful mine city. During your city tour you visit among others the birth house of Diego Rivera, the University and the Cathedral. Afterwards you climb up to the stone Monument of the Pipila above the city, where you can enjoy a beautiful view over the complete city of Guanajuato. In the end of the tour you make another short stop in the famous mummy museum. Afterwards you are, according to further course of your trip, brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal.
