Tequila Express

In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel and brought to the train station of Guadalajara where you will be welcomed with cheerful Mariachi music. Here you get on the famous Tequila Express to start your on train ride throught the wildly romantic Mexican landscape. Enjoy typical Mexican snacks, drinks and, of course tequila, while your guide explains the interesting history of Hacienda San Jose del Refugio that you will visit later on. In Amatitán you are brought to a tequila plantation before you continue to the distillery of Hacienda San Jose del Refugio from the  19th century, which contains an interesting museum. During a film screening you learn all intersting facts about the blue agave that tequila is made from, as well as about the production process. Accompanied by typical music and folk dance you enjoy delicious Mexican dishes and of course all kinds of Tequila. Afterwards you are going back to the train station in Guadalajara by train, where you are, according to the further course of your trip, brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal.
