In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel and drive towards the impressive archeological site Teotihuacán, the city of gods, that is situated about 65 kilometers away from the city. It has been declared world heritage by the UNESCO and with 22 square kilometers, it is one of the biggest city of ruins in Latin America, even though a great part of it has not been explored and excavated yet. It used to be the most important cultural centre and accommodated the civilized prehistoric people. Your tour leads you along the street of the death where you can admire all the impressive constructions. You definitely shouldn't miss out on climbing up the Sun- or Moon Pyramid, as that provides you with an imposing view over the whole area over the former "City of Gods". Then you keep going to the Basilica de Guadalupe, the most famous pilgrimage site of Mexico with a portrait of the virgin of Guadalupe that is considered to be the most holy place since colonial times. Afterwards you are, according to further course of your trip, brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal.
