In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel to come close to the famous volcanoes Popocatepetl and Itzaccíhuatl. They are Mexico's second and third highest mountain tops and are situated about 43km West of Puebla and 72km South of Mexico City. After having a little break in the small village Amecameca, where you enjoy a spectacular view on the scenery of volcanoes and beautiful churches, you continue to the Paso Cortez (3700m), that is situated in the National Park Popocatepetl Itzaccíhuatl. From here you have an amazing view over the volcanoes. If you feel like it, you can go on a little hike as there are many interesting walks, or just enjoy the unique atmosphere. We can also organize a guided hiking tour for you. On your way back you have another little stopover in Tlamacas, where you can enjoy your lunch, before you are, according to further course of your trip, brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal. NOTE: If you want to climp up the Itzaccíhuatl, please contact us, we will be happy to assist you!
