In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel and drive towards the northwest of Mexico, to the State Veracruz, where you can find El Tajin, one of the most mysterious archaeological excavations of the ancient Mexico. With its impressive Pyramid de los Nichos, El Tajin is considered to be the archaeological highlight of the gulf coast. The approximately 12 square km large ancient center of power of the Totonaken is located within a scenic countryside, surrounded by hills and creeks. On the first day you will travel from Mexico City to Veracruz. Different unique landscapes, volcanoes, forests and lakes can already be observed during this journey. When arriving in Veracruz, you visit "El Tajín" and, with just a little bit of luck, you can enjoy the performance of the famous Voladores, the flying people. Afterwards you will drive to Poza Rica for an overnight stay. The next morning after breakfast, you will return to Mexico City and, depending on your further journey, we will bring you to your hotel or to the bus station.
