In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel and drive towards Monte Albán, the most significant archeological excavation of the region. Small and steep roads lead up the hill to the largest and probably most stunning Zapotec city in Oaxaca. Just as the famous author Aldous Huxlay, you will be fascinated by the beauty and the majesty of this sight. Furthermore you get offered a great panoramic view all over the city and the hinterlands. Standing on the top of the hill, it's easy to imagine how the Zapotec used to dominate the whole southwest of Mexico. In addition, we invite you to discover some of more than 20 historical buildings and learn more about the culture of this colony. Afterwards you are, according to further course of your trip, brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal.
