In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel and you drive towards Uxmal, which is next to Chichen Itza, the most significant Maya excavation site on Yucatan. In this area there are several well-preserved buildings of pink-colored limestone. From the lookout, you have the best panorama of the whole site. During the tour, you will discover the mystic pyramid of the palmist and warlock, the Casa de las Monjas and the Palacio del Gobernador and the ball game place. After a short refreshment the tour continues to the archeological excavation site Kabáh, which used to be, apart from Uxmal, the most important city of the region. Worth seeing is especially the palace of the masks. On its facades there are around 300 faces of the rain-god Chac-Mool. After you enjoyed a guided tour through the site you return to Mérida, where you arrive at about 4 p.m. According to the further course of your trip, you are brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal.
