In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel and the tour leads you to Celestún on the Gulf of Mexico. Celestún is a little cozy fishing village, that is famous for its magnificent lagoons. After you arrived, the tour takes you to an exciting boat ride to the mangrove forests. During the trip, you will watch various exotic birds in their natural environment and you can even see the biggest flamingo colony of North America. The flamingos in this area are supposed to be the most colorful in the world due to the plenty of carotene in the water. Once you have had lunch, you have time for your own disposal. Relax in the Mexican sun, take a refreshing bath in the crystal clear water of the sea and enjoy the beauty of the nature. The flora and fauna is unique because of the compound of freshwater from the rivers and salt water from the golf. Following the tour returns to Mérida where you arrive at 4 pm. According to the further course of your trip, you are brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal.
