In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel and the tour takes you to Uman, where you get to know a typical motley Mexican market. Afterwards, you drive to the acient Hacienda Yaxacopoil, which used to be the most important Sisal Hacienda of Yucatan, in the 17th century. The estate house still has the original furnishing and while you walk through the ancient chambers you get a good impression what life in the 17th century was like. Following, the tour continues to the excavation site Uxmal, that is after Chichen Itza the most important sight on the peninsula. During the tour, you will discover among others the mystic pyramid of the palmist and warlock, the Casa de las Monjas and the Palacio del Gobernador and the ball game place. After sunset, you will enjoy the famous and outstanding Light-and-Sound Show of Uxmal. While the ancient buildings are spotlighted with fancy colors, the narrator gives you a good impression of Uxmals history, the customs and the life condition of the people. In addition the show gets accompanied with sweeping music. After the show, you return to Mérida, where you arrive at 4 pm. According to the further course of your trip, you are brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal.
