In the morning you are, according to your arrival, picked up at the bus terminal or your hotel and you drive towards Uxmal, which is next to Chichen Itza, the most significant Maya excavation site on Yucatan. In this area there are several well-preserved buildings of pink-colored limestone. From the lookout, you have the best panorama of the whole site. During the tour, you will discover the mystic pyramid of the palmist and warlock, the Casa de las Monjas and the Palacio del Gobernador and the ball game place. Following you have lunch before you enjoy the famous and outstanding Light-and-Sound Show after sunset. While the ancient buildings get spotlighted with fancy colors, the narrator gives you a good impression of Uxmals history, the customes and the life conditions of the people. In addition the show gets accompanied with sweeping music. After the show, the tour returns to Mérida, where you arrive at 4 p.m. According to the further course of your trip, you are brought to your hotel, the airport or the bus terminal.
