1. Day: Arrival in Cancún

According to your time of arrival we pick you up at the airport in Cancún and bring you to your hotel "Gran Caribe Real". Overnight stay.
2. Day: Cobá - Balancanché - Chichen Izta

After the breakfast your Hacienda-Tour starts in the direction of Coba. There you will enjoy a guided sight-seeing tour of the large Mayan City which is to a great extent still situated in the dense rain forest. You climb the highest pyramid of Yucatan, where you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the jungle and the lagoons. Then you will get a refreshment in a typical Mexican restaurant, directly situated at the Lagoon of Coba.
Afterward you continue to the Caves of Balancanche, which were discovered only a few decades ago. Here you get into the underworld of Xibalba, where untouched places of sacrifice can be seen. They were used by priests and Shamans to worship the ancestors and gods. Overnight stay in the Hotel Hacienda Chichen Resort, directly placed beside the excavation Chichen Itza.
3. Day: Chichen Itza - Mérida - Hacienda Temozon

After the breakfast we make a detailed visit of Chichen Itza, the most famous place of the Mayas of Yucatan. Let you take back into the centuries while walking along the artificial constructed monumental buildings. About midday you return to the Hotel to check out.
In the afternoon the trip continues to Merida, the city of the joy of life and the capital of Yucatan. During a round trip in the historical centre you visit the eldest cathedral of America and get to know something of the interesting history of Mexico while visiting the Government Place with its well-known because of its wall of painting pictures. Then trip to the absolutely beautiful Hacienda Temozon. Enjoy the evening walking through a stately laying out or get spoiled by a relaxing Maya-massage before having dinner.
4. Day: Mérida - Yaxopoil - Celestún - Hacienda Santa Rosa

Today you go to the former Hacienda Yaxopoil where you have the opportunity to get an idea of the life on a Sisal-Hacienda in the late 19th century. Then follows a short trip into the yucatectical small town Uman. Here you get to know the multicoloured activities of the weekly market of the Maya population. Then you go toward the Golf of Mexico to the fisher-village Celestun. There you have the chance of tasting specialities, fresh from the sea in a typical regional restaurant at the beach. In the afternoon you enjoy a boat-trip on the Lagoon surrounded by mangroves in the nature reserve Celestun. There you can see besides pink-coloured flamingos a multitude of further rare coastal birds. Afterwards trip through small Maya-villages to the Hacienda Santa Rosa. Here get enchanted by the intimacy of the 12-roomed Hacienda.
5. Day: Uxmal - Labná - Santa Rosa

In the morning you go to the archaeological site Uxmal. You will be filled with respect an admiration seeing the work architects set up without technical help in the 9th and 10th Century. Harmony and elegance form buildings like the Governors Place. Lunch break in a Maya-Restaurant where you have the opportunity to taste the traditional Mayan Food. In the afternoon trip through the picturesque villages to the rarely visited ruins of Labna, one of the most magic places of the Puuc Region. Afterwards you will return to the Hacienda Santa Rosa.
6. Day: Santa Rosa - Edzná - Campeche - Uayamon

After a delicious breakfast you are off to Campeche. In the perfectly remained and restored Centre, which has been declared for world cultural heritage several years ago, is with its dominant bulwarks, old churches, picturesque places and coloured streets a part of Mexican art history. During a city sight-seeing walk you will get the feeling you are back in the time when the harbour town has been battled by pirates. In the afternoon visit of the ruins of Edzna, the most well known Mayan City of the Federal State of Campeche. A large place with a huge Acropolis in different architectural styles shows the domination of the centre of power which cultivated successfully the fertile surrounding territory with an ingenious system off irrigation. Transfer to the luxury Hacienda Uaymon, once a splendid landed property of the Baron of Sisal Don Fernando Carvajal Estrada.
7. Day: Uayamon - Tixkokob - Aké - San José Cholul

In the morning you will leave the Hacienda Uayamon and go to Tixkokob, production place of the popular yucatetic hammocks. Afterwards trip to Ake, an unknown archaeological place, in the middle of a former Sisal-Hacienda. The Hacienda has been opened again by neighbouring Maya farmers. Then transfer to the Hacienda San Jose Cholul. This former Sisal Hacienda is situated in a wonderful park an shines today again in the splendour of the colonial time. A restaurant with Maya specialities, large suites and bathrooms, a swimming-pool filled with spring water and vast gardens make your stay on the Hacienda being a special event.
8. Day: San José Cholul - Izamal - Valladolid - Tulum - Cancún

After the breakfast youre off to Izamal, the Town of the three cultures. In the middle of the yolk-yellow coloured Colonial buildings huge pyramids, like the Kinich Kakmo or the Izamatul tower above the town, which reminds you of the famous centre of cult of the Itzas and their forcible downfall. Main attraction is the Convent of Franciscans with its huge dimensions. Today it is also the place of pilgrimage of the Virgin of Izamal, the patron saint of Yucatan. After this visit you will go on to Valladolid where you can refresh in the shadow of one of the colonial Patio-Restaurants. In the afternoon you visit Tulum, the absolute beautiful Maya-place of the post classical period which is dreamily enthroning over the Caribbean. After visiting the excavation you have the opportunity to go swimming at the dream beach Playa Paraiso. Then transfer into your hotel at the Riviera Maya, where to start your connecting stay.
