1. Day: Arrival in Tapachula - Finca Hamburgo

After getting picked up at the airport or the bus station in Tapachula, you are brought to the coffee finca Hamburgo whilst passing dreamlike landscapes. At the finca there await you a welcome drink and a dinner. Overnight.

3. Day: Finca Irlanda

After breakfast you start your daytrip to Finca Irlanda. It was the first finca that produced organic coffee. On your short way there you can observe typical animals of the region. After arrival you have the possibility to visit the finca and get to know more about the coffee production. Later that day you return to Finca Hamburgo, where lunch awaits you. The rest of the day is free time. Overnight.

5. Day: Izapa - Unión Juárez - Santo Domingo - Tapachula

After breakfast you are off to Izapa - the most important archaeological site among the coast of Chiapas. Izapa with its big stone panels, that symbolize the descendents of the Olmec divinities, is considered the most important connection between the Olmec and the Maya. There you wander between cacao, coffee and banana plantations and reach finally the famous altars of this prehispanic ruins. Later you continue to Unión Juárez from where you have a dreamlike view to the Vulcan Tacaná. Your next stop is the village Santo Domingo, before you leave to Tapachula. Overnight.
6. Day: Departure day

After breakfast you are brought, according to your further itinerary, to the airport or bus station of Tapachula.

After breakfast, which you get served almost at the pearly gates, in the middle of the green coffee shrubs, the jungle and the mountains, starts the visit of the magical coffee finca Hamburgo. Explore the coffee production: the presses, the fermentation as well as the processing and take your time to talk to the people there, they can explain you everything to the slightest detail and of course offer you a cup of this aromatic drink! This visit really brings you nearer to the wonderful world of coffee! Furthermore, do not miss to pass by the coffee museum of the finca - here you can discover the history of coffee. After lunch you will go for a walk through the coffee fields. In the evening there is a dinner. Overnight.

This day leads you after breakfast to Finca San Francisco - the latest and smallest of all fincas on your coffee route! The finca is located 1,500 meter above sea level and impresses with its huge area of 15,000 square kilometers. Get to know everything about the process of cultivation, the care of the plants, packaging and shipping of the coffee to its destination. Enjoy your lunch in the famous restaurant Perleberg in Finca Hamburgo. The rest of the day is free time. Overnight.
Today's adventure leads you to Finca la Chiripa. The highlight: the finca is located on an island in the heart of the river Cuilco surrounded by the breathtaking nature of the jungle. Go on a walk along beautiful paths, cross hanging bridges and rush down a 300-meter-long zipline! Thrill and amazing view included! After a refreshing bath in the river you go back to FInca Hamburgo, where you have your lunch. The time till dinner is free time. Overnight.
