In the morning you are off to the the charming village of Tequila. It is idyllically situated between hills that are overgrown with agaves, which is typical for this region. You visit the traditional distillery Casa Cuervo where you get to know a lot about the production process of this popular beverage. Afterwards you continue to Guadalajara, the capital of Jalisco and the second biggest city of Mexico. It's well known for its typical and still maintained Mexican traditions. A city tour leads you through the centre where you get to see, among other things, the palace, the famous murals in the building of the former Hospiz Cabañas which is declared world heritage, as well as the cathedral, the regional museum and the greatest market of Guadalajara. Today you get to know Guanajuato, which is one of the most beautiful mining towns with its nice streets and alley tangles. In the course of the 16th century the city gained a lot of wealth due to great resources of silver. During your city tour you get to know among other things the birthplace of Diego Riveras, the basilica, the university, the famous alley of kisses and the cathedral. Besides we take you to the Hidalgo market, the biggest market in town with an impressing architecture. Overnight stay.

After the breakfast your tour starts with a trip to Morelia, the capital of Michoacán and probably the most aristocratic of all colonial cities in Mexico. 1991 the city was declared to an UNESCO world cultural heritage because of its outstanding well kept center. Here you discover the historic city centre with its the breathtaking, beautiful cathedral which has been built with rosy stones, the impressive palaces and the well established university. Due to the well preserved centre and the special atmosphere Morelia is said to be a true gem among the colonial cities. Enjoy the spiritedness of the city before the tour continues to Patzcuaro in the afternoon, where you will spend the rest of the evening. Overnight stay.

In the morning after breakfast your tour leads you to Tlaquepaque, a wonderful suburb that has been swallowed by Guadalajara over the years. Luckily it has been able to maintain its rural character. Many artists made Tlaquepaque their home, so you find every kind of art out of every material you can imagine, such as potter's clay, ceramic, wood, copper etc. as well as precious colonial antiquities. All the leafy streets and plazas radiate an atmosphere of special calmness and peacefulness. Here you can enjoy a delicious lunch in typical Mexican restaurant that is accompanied by a Mariachi band. Afterwards you continue to Guanajuato.
Today you leave Guanajuato to visit San Miguel de Allende. This colonial city is better known as "the City of Artists". Get to know the original and imposing church out of rose colored stone which is the town's landmark. Then you go to the museum Ignacio de Allende, the birthplace andresidential house of the Mexican hero of freedom. Afterwards you continue to the beautiful colonial town of Querétaro that has been declared world cultural heritage by the UNESCO. Here began once the Mexican revolution what makes it to one of the historical distinguished places in Mexico. During a tour through the city you can enjoy a view on the impressing aqueduct and all the colourful alleys. You also have some free time to have a closer look at the city. Afterwards you are brought back to your starting point in Mexico City.
