During this Mexico daytrip you learn all about Mexican cuisine during a visit at a local market and a cooking class in Puebla. You prepare, for example, the national dish Chiles en nogada.

Today, meet your Chef in the kitchen of the boutique hotel Meson de Sacristia where you will begin to discover the delicious and unique culinary world of Puebla. The regional dishes in Puebla are quite unique and many dishes are only prepared seasonally. Together with your Chef you will plan the days menu and the head to the local market where you will choose, taste and learn all about the ingredients available and those used in the days recipes. Soak up the smells and ambiance of the market and afterwards continue to the kitchen. Together with your Chef, you will prepare a delicious and traditional meal learning cooking techniques and preparation methods Mexico is famous for. After all of your hard work, sit down and let your tastebuds savour the flavours. Blends of chili and chocolate as well as staples such as corn and beans will leave you with a full stomach and a happy heart. Enjoy a final cocktail or local beer before being returned to your hotel on your own.
