Scuba – Cenote Dos Ojos
On this Mexico daytrip you have the unique opportunity to dive in one of the countless underwater caves – cenotes – and to explore the unique underwater world.
Tour description:
In the morning, make your way (on your own) to the local dive shop to meet up with your guide and fellow divers. Together, you will prepare your equipment and be taken to one of the most beautiful cenotes of the region, the Cenote Dos Ojos. This unique diving experience will take your breath away as you swim through dark underground tunnels where salt and fresh water mix in an unforgettable effect. Admire the stalactites and stalagmites in large underground caves while the sunshine streams through the water from overhead. The crystal clear turquoise water has excellent visibility and there is an air of mystery surrounding cenotes as they were important in Maya traditions. Enjoy the atmosphere and underwater landscape of the cenote before being returned to the dive shop in Playa del Carmen. Make your way (on your own) back to the hotel.
