Cuernavaca & Taxco

On this private Mexico daytrip you visit the city of Cuernavaca, which is known for its colorful houses, and then the silver city of Taxco.

Tour description

Today, you will be picked up by your private guide from your hotel and driven to Cuernavaca that is situated about 50km away from Mexico City. Because of the climate in Cuernavaca, it is deservedly called the “City of eternal Spring”. Here you can visit the Cathedral and the Zocalo and have a little free time to discover the colourful city on your own before continuing on to Taxco. This city is famous for its amazing silver jewellery and artesenia that can be purchased at very reasonable prices. Here you will stop for lunch and visit, among other sights, the beautiful historical center, the Santa Prisca Church and a silver workshop where you can observe the production of beautiful jewellery. Afterwards, you will be brought back to your hotel.
