Make your way to the starting point of this exciting kayak tour on the Bacalar lagoon. First, you will receive a short introduction on how to paddle and respect the delicate flora and fauna of the region. Then you can head out into the lagoon where you can observe the wildlife preparing to settle in for the night. The water is extremely calm at this time of the evening and your kayak glides effortlessly across the crystal clear turquoise water. Admire the beautiful colours of the setting sun over the lagoon while your guide points out birds, reptiles, fish and explains the unique nature of the mangroves in the “Lagoon of seven colours”, Afterwards, you will be returned to shore and can make your way back to your hotel.
